Segreene Sustainable Design & Consulting (SSDC) was established in 2008 and is the first and only consulting firm in Taiwan to provide a full range of sustainable building design and consulting services. We start with green buildings, take sustainability as the core, and aim at ESG and zero-carbon buildings.
SSDC has participated in nearly 1,000 domestic and international green building projects, including industrial buildings, commercial buildings, residential buildings, and public buildings, with a cumulative total area of 22 million square meters. Well-known projects include TSMC fabs, Taipei NanShan Plaza, and Agoda Garden Residential Tower.
In collaboration with Bee Sung Architects (BSA) in recent years, SSDC has taken its services to the next level by integrating architectural design and scientific green building technical knowledge, providing clients with a full spectrum of sustainability services.
Through our services, we help clients achieve energy-saving, carbonreducing, and healthy green buildings. Also, it strengthens enterprises’ decarbonization power, enhances their ESG competitiveness, and achieves the ultimate objective of net-zero carbon emissions.

Eight Hearts and Eight Arrows
Through a special filter, the “arrows” can be seen from the front side of the diamond, while the “heart” will appear on the back. Due to the symbolic meaning of Cupid, the god of love, holding a bow and arrow and shooting at the heart, the eight hearts and eight arrows around the diamond are also known as “Cupid’s Cutter”.
Just like the eight hearts and eight arrows used to evaluate the quality of diamonds, SSDC has adopted the eight hearts and eight arrows as its corporate culture, valuing its stakeholders, and pursuing sustainable excellence as the SSDC team to achieve the most reliable business partners.

➤ Johnny Chen was invited to attend the “Earth Solutions: 2023 Sustainable Design Conference” held on Earth Day, and served as the moderator of the forum on the topic of “Exploring Sustainable Living through Architecture.” Together with CEOs from Hongguo Construction, Guande Construction, and Jiangjie Construction, they presented the visions and prospects for future architecture.
➤The SSDC headquarters office achieved WELL Platinum certification. Xue Ya, president of IWBI Asia, attended the awarding ceremony in person and affirmed that SSDC Office upgraded the existing buildings at economic cost and obtained Platinum Certification, which is commendable.
➤Collaborating with the Global Network for Zero Ltd. (GNFZ) in assisting buildings in East Asia to achieve and sustain net zero emissions.
➤Awarded the URTA 2023 Urban Renewal and Old and Dangerous Buildings Reconstruction Team Award (Old and Dangerous Buildings Reconstruction category) organized by Wealth Magazine.

➤ Hotai Development Co., ’s headquarter building achieved the WELL Platinum certification.

➤ Apple’s Nanshan Taipei Office in Taiwan achieved LEED-CI gold certification.
➤ Tuntex Incorporation achieved LEED-NC Gold certification for Sanbulong green garment factory in Indonesia.
➤ Infancix Postpartum Care Center achieved WELL Platinum certification, which is the first postpartum care center in the world to receive this accreditation.
➤ SSDC, Taiwan Green Collar Association, and U.S. Green Building Council hosted and organized the “2019 International Green Building Summit in Taiwan”.
➤SSDC expanded its services in WELL Building Standard Certification from the United States, Accessible Housing Label, and New Residential Building Performance Evaluation.
➤ Dei Energy Solution Tech. factory in Kaohsiung achieved LEED Gold certification.
➤CSOT TFT-LCD G11 FAB (Shenzhen) achieved dual certifications from LEED-NC Gold Certification and The Green Building Evaluation Mark.
This is SSDC's first consultancy project in China Green Building Evaluation Label .
